Akiba@con has been pushed back one year for 2011. This is unfortunate, but we want to put on a great show for the local community and this can not be possible within the short amount of time. Many factors played in to this, but we decided that this would be the best course of action.
JASTC meetings will still go on but the convention has been pushed back for the Summer 2011 season.

akiba@con is a convention dedicated to japanese pop culture on the treasure coast of florida. held during one weekend in the year, japanese pop culture enthusiasts of the treasure coast area and state gather to discuss these things, sit on panels about various topics, look at art exhibits, watch films displayed in viewing rooms, and have fun during a two day family friendly event.
it is a convention for the community and put on by the community.
akiba@con is an abbreviation of akihabara, the computer district of tokyo, and convention.
